Church Overview

Designed in Arts & Crafts Gothic by James A Morris, nave dedicated 1913, chancel built and dedicated 1921. Twenty years of planning culminated when the church was consecrated in 1931. The church contains many examples of fine woodwork by Yorkshire carver Robert Thomson of Kilburn, whose signature is the carved mouse (look closely at the main door). Organ by J J Binns, rebuilt 1987 and 2011.
