Church Overview

Built 1845, in simple early Gothic style by John Henderson, St Mary’s is a community church combining prayer, worship, social action, fun and compassion with a strong interest in the nurture of children and young people. Richly carved stone font, pulpit and altar. Stained glass by James Hogan of James Powell & Sons. Pipe organ, 1845, by Wood, rebuilt using original pipes by Binns, Fitton & Haley.
