Church Overview
Designed by John J Burnet 1887 as ‘one of a family of long, low friendly churches’. Constructed in red sandstone in an early Gothic style with a simple stone belfry and wooden porch. An unusual baptismal font is set into the arch and church wall and rush-bottomed chairs take the place of pews. Lit by circular candelabra. Two tapestries by Mrs Sandeman and two recent stained glass windows by Richard Leclerc.
Closed by the church of Scotland in October 2023
