Church Overview

The nave to a design by James Wallace 1857, with chancel and sanctuary by Sir George Gilbert Scott 1876. Wall and ceiling murals in the chancel, the north ceiling depicts twelve prophets with text scrolls, the south ceiling depicts the twelve apostles and creeds. Mosaic flooring with wheat and grapes. Stained glass in chancel depicts the life of Christ. Pipe organ, 1876, Hill & Sons, with elaborately decorated pipes and fretwork screening, refurbished 1939 by Hill, Norman & Beard.

Services

We only have a said Eucharist on Sundays at 10.30am, no other services. Due to restrictions on numbers, places must be organised in advance – contact details to book your place can be found on our Facebook Page.
