3Church Overview
Built in 1875-76, to a design by architect Thomas Lennox Watson, when the congregation moved from Hope Street. Classical facade with Corinthian columns supporting the pediment. Stained glass by W & J J Kerr.
Award-winning redevelopment in 1995 by Gillespies saw the founding of ‘Adelaide’s’ and the creation of a multi-functional centre including sanctuary, guest house and nursery. Further development works followed 2017-2023, which saw the closure of the guest house, installation of new office and meeting spaces and a new café area. The church has a ministry to businesses in Glasgow.
