Church Overview
The Seveth-day Adventist Church in Crieff is a beautiful modern church building situated in its own grounds. It was built in 1977 by Maranatha, an international group of retired people who travel round the world building churches, schools and medical clinics. The church was built in eleven days; half way through the week, the local bookmaker stopped taking bets on its completion date! The church hall was also built by Maranatha in 1993 with funds raised by the Thistle Foundation and is now widely used by local groups. The church actually started as a house group in the home of Drs Brown in 1945.
