Church Overview
The church is dedicated to St Vincent de Paul whose His followers, the Lazarists, were important missionaries to Barra during the penal times. Built in 1964, the church has a tall roof with swept eaves. The church is situated near the ancient celtic site of St Barr at Cille Bharra (Kilbarr), burial place of MacNeil chieftains.
