Church Overview
Scottish Episcopal church built in 1865 close to the site of the Battle of Pinkie (1547), in a traditional French Gothic style by the architectural firm of Paterson & Shiells.
It has a narrow chancel and semi-circular apse with a steeply pitched roof. It possesses fine stained glass windows by artists including Ward & Hughes of London and a series of windows depicting the life of Christ by Purdie, Bonnar & Carfrae. Look out too for the 17th-century character wooden panelling in St Michael’s Chapel.
