Church Overview

Rebuilt by William Burn 1836 on the foundations of the previous 15th-century church. The flowing window tracery follows the original design, stained glass by William Wilson 1966. Attached to the south-west corner is the hexagonal St Triduana’s Chapel, once the lower storey of a two-tier Chapel built for James III about 1477. The vault springs from a central pier, its six shafts topped by foliate capitals. Notable 17th- and 18th-century monuments in the graveyard.
