Church Overview
St. Columbkilles Church parish was founded in 1851. The original church was situated to the east of the present building and accommodated around 600 people. The current church was opened and consecrated in 1940. The church has undergone major renovation over 2 phases and was completed with the church fully reopening on the 12th of October 2016. Modern adaptation of an Italian basilica in red brick with stone margins. Five statues by Archibald Dawson of Christ and the four Evangelists. Sacred Heart Chapel by Walter Pritchard. Stations of the Cross by Miss McGeechan.
Services
Monday-saturday 10am and 1pm. Saturday Vigil Mass 5.30pm. Sunday at 9am, 10.30am, 12 noon and 4pm
