Church Overview

Built 1893 by Pugin & Pugin in light sandstone. Notable ‘Creation’ rose window above sanctuary area and carved ‘Christ Triumphant’ below. Mosaic work ‘Suffer the Children’, ‘Nativity’, ‘Glories of Mary’, ‘Annunciation’, and stained glass windows ‘Christ with Saints’ and ‘Sacred Heart’ 1945-9 by the John Hardman Studios. ‘St Bridget’ and ‘St Colmcille’ windows by Shona McInnes 1999.
