Church Overview
This impressive and striking building was opened in 1973. The concrete block walls are rendered externally to harmonise with the surrounding buildings. The red knotty pine ceiling and quarry tile floor bring warmth to the interior and coloured blocks of glass have been used to contrast with the white walls. Superb pipe organ, striking modern statue of Mary, and a modern sculpture of the Last Supper. Convent of Poor Clares next door to the church can also be visited.
