Church Overview
The four-stage tower and octagonal spire is all that remains of the 1808 church by John Smith, damaged by fire in 1908. The reconstructed church was designed in a matching classical style by J M Dick Peddie in 1911. Interior is spacious with tall Doric columns supporting the vaulted roof. Mahogany panelling in the chancel decorated with carved flowers and fruit. Stained glass by Christopher Whall.
