Church Overview

Gothic style on a Greek cross ground-plan to a design by William Robertson 1826. The crenellated and pinacled south entrance gable intended as an architectural feature visible from the High Street is now blocked by the ring-road. Chancel added 1852 and interior recast; nave lengthened 1879. Plain dignified interior with late 19th-century stained glass.
