Church Overview
Thrumster is a crofting community five miles south of Wick. The present church was built in 1900 after over 260 local residents indicated to the Church authorities that they would like to have a Church in their community. It is a very attractive country Church, notable for its very pleasing decor, stained glass window and exceptional acoustics.
The church was closed and marketed for sale in March 2024. Planning permission sought and given to convert into a private residence in the summer of 2025.
