Church Overview

There was a corrugated-iron church on the site when the congregation split from being a mission church of Christ Church, Duns. The foundation stone of the present building, by Charles T.Ewing, was laid in 1913 and it came into use in 1914. Two windows in the sanctuary and the font were given by the Sunday School. Painted decoration in the apse by Mrs Ellington. Some of the the pews, altar hangings, priest’s vestments and other items came from the old private Chapel at The Hirsel.
