Opened for worship in 1931, built to Modern Gothic design of architect James Taylor Thomson. Bold and striking church in a commanding position. Topped by an openwork lead flèche, the stonework has the understated detail characteristic of its era.

Light and lofty interior, complete with original fitments, and stained glass by Douglas Strachan and Gordon Webster. Takes its name from the merger of the congregations of St John’s Church (1919-1923) and Renfield Church (1819-1923).
