Church Overview
White-harled church of 1953, designed by Ian G Lindsay in the style of a typical country church of the 18th century. It replaced a ‘tin chapel’ built of corrugated iron in 1872. Furnishings in appropriate neo-Georgian style. Boer War Memorial window of 1903 by C E Kempe from St Ninian’s Preparatory School installed behind the altar in 1989. ‘Father’ Willis organ, recently restored. The altar and a wall plaque are examples of the mid 20th-century work of Robert “Mousey” Thompson.
