Church Overview

Ninth-century stones were found when the church was rebuilt on this earlier Christian site in 1788 to a design by James Playfair, father of William Henry Playfair. The steeple was completed in 1790. The 17 stained glass windows include the Last Supper, a memorial window to Violet Jacob, and windows by William Wilson. Interesting kirkyard, the earliest stone dating from 1613.
