Church Overview
Greengairs is a village of North Lanarkshire which developed in the 19th century in association with coal mining and quarrying. The first parish church of the 1870s was demolished in 1989 and replaced by the present, simple, single-storey L-plan church. The church is distinguished by the Celtic cross on the gable facing the street, which echoes the war memorial closer to the road.
