Church Overview
This charming, simple Gothic church was built 1864-65 by Alexander Ross from grey granite with red sandstone dressings, its chancel, transepts and tower were added in 1896-7. Funds for the building and extension came from local landowners, the Ellice family of Glengarry.
Striking polished granite pulpit and matching font flank either side of the chancel. Pipe organ by Ingram & Co, 1898, rebuilt and relocated within church by George Sixsmith in 1985. This rural church has been joined with other nearby parishes since the 1970s and in 1987 it linked with Fort Augustus Parish Church.
